Business and Marketplace: self-service changes, better reviews, and clearer settings

This update connects several important daily workflows: clients get clearer actions for their own reservations and forms in Marketplace, Business has better organized online booking settings, and teams get more context for reviews, package services, memberships, installments, and reports.

✨ In short

  • In Marketplace, the appointment detail now includes "Manage reservation" with actions for changing, canceling, and changing seats when the business allows them.
  • Clients can use "Choose new date and time" for single appointments and "Change number of seats" for group classes, based on the displayed deadline and location rules.
  • When confirming a new online booking, Marketplace can show "Reservation policies" with deadlines and policy texts for cancellation, date/time changes, or seat changes.
  • For waiting-list reservations, Marketplace can show the client's specific position in the list.
  • The "Calendar sync" section in the appointment detail is clearer and shows automatic sync, stopping sync, or "Download file".
  • Marketplace forms are now clearer in both "My forms" and "Reservation details", with "To complete", "Completed", and "All" filters in the main list.
  • In Business, "Online booking" settings are grouped into sections such as "Status and defaults", "Availability rules", "Client self-service", "Messages and notifications", and "PRO domain and branding".
  • Business now supports separate "Client self-service deadlines" and "Client policy texts" for "Online cancellation", "Date/time change for single appointments", and "Seat changes for group classes".
  • Reviews get new and updated controls: "Report inappropriate review", an updated "AI assistant", "Response rate", "Reviews with comments", and "Reviews with photos".
  • In Marketplace, review photos have clearer limits and a counter, and public reviews have "All reviews", "With comments", "With photos", "With replies" filters and "Newest", "Highest rating", "Lowest rating" sorting.
  • The Marketplace profile now has clearer actions for "Edit profile", "Change password", "Change email", "Verify your email", and "Manage account status".
  • Package services in Business now have more flexible start options: "One after another", "Same start time", "At package start", "With previous service", "After previous service", and "Start after (minutes)".
  • In issued memberships, you can now search by "Code" and filter by "Not used yet" in visit status.

🧭 Clients Can Manage Their Reservation Online

In Marketplace, the appointment detail now shows "Manage reservation". It gathers the actions a client can perform without messaging or calling the location.

When an action is available, the client sees:

  • "Choose new date and time" for rescheduling a single appointment;
  • "Change number of seats" for a group class;
  • "Cancel reservation" for canceling.

Each action shows a deadline when one applies. If the deadline has passed or the action is not available, the client sees why: for example that the option is no longer available, that there is no other available seat count, or that an online-paid booking must be changed through the location.

When rescheduling, Marketplace opens a calendar for selecting a new available day and time. For group classes, the client can change only the number of reserved seats based on current availability, the per-client limit, and the location rules.

Even before confirming a new online booking, Marketplace can show "Reservation policies". This lets the client see cancellation, date/time change, or seat change deadlines before submitting the request.

If the reservation is on a waiting list, the detail screen can show the client's specific position. When the position is not available, it shows "You are on the waiting list."

The same detail screen now shows the "Calendar sync" status more clearly. The client can turn on automatic sync, stop it, or use "Download file" when they prefer to add the appointment manually.

📝 Clearer Forms in Marketplace

Marketplace forms are clearer from both entry points: the main "My forms" list and "Reservation details" when the form is linked to a specific visit.

In "My forms", clients can switch between:

  • "To complete";
  • "Completed";
  • "All".

Cards show the location, form name, "Needs completion" or "Completed" status, a deadline when one applies, and "Complete form" for forms that still need completion.

In the reservation detail, forms remain available under "Forms and preparation", so clients can complete them directly from the reservation.

⚙️ Clearer Online Booking Settings in Business

The "Online booking" screen in Business has been reorganized so settings are easier for the team to find and understand.

The new structure is split into sections:

  • "Status and defaults";
  • "Public profile";
  • "Availability rules";
  • "Client self-service";
  • "Messages and notifications";
  • "PRO domain and branding".

The most important change is in "Client self-service". You can now manage these actions separately:

  • "Online cancellation";
  • "Date/time change for single appointments";
  • "Seat changes for group classes".

Each action has its own deadline and client-facing policy text. If an action is enabled but the business language policy text is missing, Business shows "Missing business language policy text". This helps the team avoid publishing self-service actions without a clear explanation for clients.

"Messages and notifications" now keeps client messages and team notification recipients together. This is where you configure "Profile notice", "Booking confirmation message", "New client notification recipients", and "New booking notification recipients".

⭐ More Control Over Reviews and Public Feedback

Review lists in Business now give the team more operational context.

The team can use "Report inappropriate review" when a public review needs Reservation.Studio moderation review. Statistics now include "Response rate", "Reviews with comments", and "Reviews with photos", and star rows can be used as a quick filter.

The reply AI block has been updated as "AI assistant" and uses "Generate reply". The AI text is a draft: Business explicitly reminds the team to review it before saving and to avoid personal data, incentives, or requests for a positive rating.

There is also clearer control over reply visibility:

  • "Reply as" - location or employee;
  • "Show reply on public profile".

In Marketplace, review photos have a clearer counter and visible limits: up to 5 photos and up to 5 MB per photo.

The public review list can now be filtered by content and sorted by rating. This helps clients find reviews with photos, comments, or replies from the location more easily.

🔐 Clearer Marketplace Profile and Security

The Marketplace profile is now better organized around booking details and account security. From "Edit profile", the client can update "Profile details", change password or email, and manage profile status. The detailed steps are in Marketplace: account and security.

🧩 More Flexible Package Services

Package services can now describe more precisely when each service in the package starts.

In "Services", for a package service, you can quickly arrange services as:

  • "One after another";
  • "Same start time".

Each service in the package also has separate "Start options":

  • "At package start";
  • "With previous service";
  • "After previous service";
  • a manual value in "Start after (minutes)".

This is useful when part of a package starts in parallel, another part starts after the previous service, and another one needs a specific offset. When creating an appointment, Business uses these settings to calculate the start times of the separate package services.

🛠️ More Daily-Work Improvements

In "Issued memberships", filters are now more practical for reception and administrators. You can search by "Code" and use visit status filters, including "Not used yet", "Fully used (no visits left)", "Partially used (some services completed)", and "Available visits remaining".

For installment sales, the "Plan actions" menu now includes:

  • "Regenerate evenly between start and end date";
  • "Regenerate monthly on the start date day";
  • "Regenerate every 30 days from start date";
  • "Remove plan".

If fixed installments exceed the total amount, Business shows "Fixed installments exceed the total amount." before saving.

In "Reports", rows in "Appointments by service" now open the detailed list for the specific service price option. That makes checking more precise when one service has multiple prices, durations, or variants.

In Marketplace, class lists now refresh in place after a reservation action. This keeps the client's current context instead of restarting the list.

Availability for open times and classes is also more reliable across time zones and public location addresses.

✅ What to Do Now

  1. Open "Online booking" for your important locations and review "Client self-service".
  2. Set deadlines and policy texts for "Online cancellation", "Date/time change for single appointments", and "Seat changes for group classes".
  3. Check a sample appointment in Marketplace and review how clients see "Reservation policies", "Manage reservation", and "Calendar sync".
  4. Open "My forms" in Marketplace and check the "To complete", "Completed", and "All" filters; for a specific reservation, also check "Forms and preparation".
  5. Review your reviews with the new statistics, filters, and "AI assistant".
  6. Open "Edit profile" in Marketplace and check profile details, email, and security settings.
  7. If you use package services, open them in "Services" and check whether each service start matches your real process.
  8. If you work with memberships and installments, test "Code" search, the "Not used yet" filter, and installment plan regeneration actions.
