AI connectors and a week view for the whole team
Connect Claude or ChatGPT to Reservation.Studio and ask about your business the way you would ask a colleague: "What is my schedule for tomorrow?", "Which clients have not been in for three months?", "How much came in this week?". When the owner allows it, the AI application can also move appointments, block time and assign tasks — after it shows you what it will do and gets your "yes".
Also in this update: the calendar has a week in which the whole team fits in seven columns, and a new report shows on which days and in which hours the business is busiest.
✨ In short
- AI connectors in "Integrations": Claude and ChatGPT answer questions about the schedule, the clients, the team's tasks and the reports, and with permission they make changes too. The feature is in beta and is off by default.
- A new "Week" view in the calendar: the whole team, one column per day. The week view with columns per employee or resource is "Week by employees/resources".
- An employee's or a resource's blocked time shows as a bar at the top of the day — in "Week", "Day" and "Month". The appointment card shows how many places are taken in a group class.
- A new "Workload by day and hour" report, with a comparison with the previous period or with the same period last year.
- An API key with no date in "Expires at" has no expiry. "Generate new key" replaces the access key, and "Last used" shows when the key was used.
- "Fiscal payment type" on a payment method has a hint, and the Help Center shows which cash register position each type uses.
- "Quick pay" in a sale adds the remaining amount with the default method and, when the business requires a cash register, takes the location's register if there is only one.
- The side menu shows where you are, and the menu button folds and opens it with one click.
- In Marketplace a free service has no payment method to choose.
AI connectors: ask Claude or ChatGPT about your business
Anyone on the team can connect their own AI application — Claude or ChatGPT — to Reservation.Studio and ask in plain language, by typing or by voice. The answers come from your own data: the schedule, the clients, the services, the team, the tasks, blocked time and the reports. The connector sees only what the person sees in the application.
What you can ask:
- The schedule and free times: "What do I have this afternoon?", "When is there a free slot for a manicure on Thursday?"
- Clients: "Which clients have not been in for more than three months?", "Whose birthday is this month?", "How many visits does Maria have left on her membership?"
- Money: "How much came in this week, by employee?", "How do clients pay most often?", "Which memberships did we sell this month?"
- The team: "Which tasks are overdue?", "Who is away next week?"
With "Can act" the AI application can also make changes: book, move and cancel appointments, change clients, block time, and create, change and close tasks. For example: "Move Ivan's appointments for tomorrow to Thursday" or "Block Ivan on Friday — he is on a training course".
Before every change Reservation.Studio describes what will happen — when cancelling, how many clients will be notified, and for a task, who will get a notification. The AI application must show you the description and wait for your "yes". Everything it does is recorded under the name of the person who connected the connector.
What the connector reads is sent to the provider of the AI application and handled under that provider's terms — the "Allow AI connectors?" window says so before you confirm.
AI connectors stay off until the owner switches them on. The owner opens "Integrations" → "AI connectors" → "Settings", switches on "Allow AI connectors in this business" and chooses "Access" for the people who will use them. "Can act" is switched on only for people whose work needs it. Then each person connects their own AI application from "My AI connectors".

The whole team in one calendar week
"Calendar settings" → "View" has two week views:
- "Week" — one column per day with the appointments of the whole team. It suits studios with group classes and many employees, where a column for every person makes the week too wide.
- "Week by employees/resources" — every day is split into columns per employee or resource.
If you work with the week view, the calendar opens as before — in "Week by employees/resources". For the week of the whole team, choose "Week" in "View".
Blocked time as a bar
In "Week", "Day" and "Month", an employee's or a resource's blocked time shows as a bar at the top of the day, with the name and the hours. This way it does not cover the appointments. The reason shows when you hold the pointer over the bar, and clicking the bar opens "Edit blocked time". In the views by employees and resources, blocked time is in the employee's or the resource's column.
When someone on the team adds, changes or deletes blocked time or changes working hours, everyone else sees it in the calendar straight away, without reloading the page.
The appointment card
What the card shows depends on its size. A short card shows the time, the client and the service on one line, and a taller card shows the other details too. In a group class with a limited number of places, the card shows how many are taken, for example 6/13. When the class is full, the count is on a dark background, and when it is overbooked, on a red one. The text colour is chosen to match the card's colour, so it is easy to read.
When you hold the pointer over a card, a details window opens: time and duration, clients, service, employees, resources and notes. In a group, each client is on a separate line with phone and status, and you also see how many people are waiting.
Details: Calendar and Blocked time.
Workload by day and hour
The "Workload by day and hour" report is among the appointment reports in Reports PRO. A coloured map shows, for every day of the week and every hour, how busy the business is on average per day. "Show" chooses the measure — "Busy time", "Services" or "Clients". Under the map are "Busiest hours", "Quietest hours" and two charts — by day and by hour. The period can be up to 366 days, and the default is "Last 90 days".
"Compare with" compares the period with the "Previous period" or with the "Same period last year". The report shows how the busy time per day changed and adds "Biggest rises" and "Biggest drops".
For employees, the report opens only with the "By workload" permission in "Reports / Appointments". The permission is not added to existing roles automatically.
Details: Workload by day and hour.
API keys without expiry
A new API key with no date in "Expires at" has no expiry. The list of keys has a "Last used" column, and the key's window, in the "Access key" section, shows the last four characters of the key and when it was last used.
"Generate new key" — from the key's menu in the list or from its window — replaces the access key. The name, permissions, status and expiry stay the same, and the old access key stops working immediately. The new one is shown only once.
After "Generate new key", enter the new access key in the external system.
Details: API keys and external system access.
Fiscal payment type and cash register positions
On a payment method, the "Fiscal payment type" field — "Cash", "Card", "Check" or "Bank transfer" — decides which position in the cash register the payment goes to. The position number depends on the device model. Below the field there is a hint with "Learn more". It leads to a table with the position of each type on Daisy, Datecs and Datecs X and MX and to the steps for setting up the device itself.
Check that every position you use is set up on the device for the same kind of payment. Otherwise the device refuses the receipt or the payment is reported to the NRA as another kind.
Details: Fiscal payment type and cash register positions.
Quick pay in a sale
"Quick pay" adds the remaining amount of the sale with the default method. When the business requires a cash register for payments, the button takes the location's register only if the location has exactly one active register. With several registers or none, the "Payment" screen opens with the method and the remaining amount.
Details: How to add a payment to a sale.
A menu that shows where you are
The side menu opens the group of the screen you are on and marks its line — also when you reach the screen from a link or after a reload. The menu button in the top bar folds and opens the menu with one click, and its symbol and hint — "Fold menu" or "Open menu" — show what it will do.
From the keyboard, the first press of Tab shows "Skip to content". This link skips the menu and takes you straight to the screen.
Marketplace: free services
When a client books a free service, the confirmation does not ask how they will pay and shows "Free". If the business has included the free service in a membership, the client can choose their membership. If the booking also includes a paid service, the choice of payment stays.
