Notifications and client messages

This page covers "Messages and notifications" in online booking settings. From here you control what clients read in the public profile and before confirmation, and who from the team receives alerts for a new client or new booking.

These settings are location-specific and affect the online flow only. They do not replace the general templates and channels in Notifications.

1) Profile notice

"Profile notice" adds a visible information block in the public profile and embed pages before the client starts booking.

You configure:

  • "Profile notice style" - controls the visual style; if no style is selected, the notice is hidden;
  • "Profile notice text" - the text the client will read.

Use this for information that should stay visible: visit rules, important conditions, or reminders about what the client should bring.

2) Booking confirmation message

"Booking confirmation message" appears before the client submits the request. In "Confirmation message text", enter the text the client should see right before confirming.

This message is useful for conditions that should appear at the end of the flow, not permanently in the public profile.

3) Team notifications

In "Team notifications", you configure who receives alerts when clients use online booking.

  • "New client notification recipients" chooses the specific employees who receive an alert when a new client appears through the online profile.
  • "New booking notification recipients" defines how the alert is distributed for a new booking.

For a new booking, the setting can:

  • send no notification;
  • send the notification to selected employees;
  • send the notification to the service provider.

If you choose the option for specific employees, an additional "Employees to notify" selector appears.

AI help for client-facing messages

AI help is available for both text fields:

  • "Profile notice text";
  • "Confirmation message text".

From the AI Content Assistant button you can prepare a draft text. In the modal you set:

  • Instructions
  • Tone
  • Purpose
  • Language
  • Add emoji

After "Generate", review the proposed text and use "Use text" to insert it into the field. It is still a good idea to remove wording that sounds too generic or too promotional if the message is meant to give clear operational instructions.

How to choose the right place for the message

  • Use "Profile notice" when the text should stay visible permanently in the profile.
  • Use "Booking confirmation message" when the client should see an important condition right before submitting the request.

Result

After the setup:

  • the right team members receive notifications;
  • the client sees important instructions in the correct place in the online profile and before confirmation;
  • the online flow becomes clearer and easier to control.
