Deleting a service shows who it affects, cash and clock on the fiscal device, assessments in the e-examination
This update touches three different parts of the working day: the catalog — deleting a service or a price shows which clients and memberships it affects before you confirm it; the front desk with a cash register — you put cash in, take it out, and sync the clock without touching the keyboard of the device; the consulting room — the NHIS e-examination has a field for assessments.
✨ In short
- The dialog for deleting a service shows how many clients and which membership plans it affects — and does not stop the deletion.
- Removing a pricing option also asks for confirmation and shows the same lines.
- Bulk deletion of services asks the same question for the whole selection.
- A membership plan with a deleted service is still sold and can still be edited.
- An existing appointment on a deleted price can be moved and completed, and when a booking cannot go through, the message says which service stops it and why.
- The fiscal device settings are arranged into the groups "Reports", "Cash drawer", "Clock" and "Maintenance": putting cash in and taking it out, and syncing the device clock.
- "Operator password" comes prefilled with the factory value for the model.
- The NHIS e-examination has an "Assessments" section, and the last-used values come from the examinations of the selected specialist.
- A closed or voided e-examination cannot be deleted.
- Signing out keeps the workstation settings — cash register, signature tablet, scanner.
- Appointment emails whose text you write yourself contain only your text.
- A YouTube or Vimeo video in your descriptions is shown in Marketplace.
Services: deleting tells you who it affects
A service can be part of a membership plan, and clients may have visits left for it. That is why, underneath the question, the "Delete service" dialog shows:
- how many clients hold a membership covering the service, and up to how many visits they have left for it;
- how many of the affected memberships are unlimited;
- which membership plans include it and will need fixing, with an "and N more" line when there are many.
The visit count is an upper bound, not the exact loss: on a plan with a total visit count, the remaining balance is shared across all services in it. If your role has no access to membership plans, you see only their count, without the names.
The warning informs you; it does not stop you. The deletion goes ahead even when the check does not succeed — the dialog then reads "Could not check which membership plans include it." The service is deleted temporarily, and "Restore service" brings it back.
The same lines appear in the other two places where a service or a price can disappear:
- Removing a pricing option — from "Pricing options" on the service and from "Additional group options" on the group class.
- Bulk deletion from the services list — with a line on how many of the selected services are in plans, for example "3 of 7 selected services are in membership plans."
The details are in Services list and Pricing and additional options.
Memberships: a plan with a deleted service is still sold and edited
A membership plan where one of the included prices was deleted together with its service is sold as usual and stays editable — you can change the usage count on the remaining services in it.
The issued membership contains only the services whose price still exists, so the client gets no visits for the deleted one. "Sync services" skips it too and does not push it out to the sold memberships. You can only add a service whose price has not been deleted.
To fix it, open the plan and point the row at a price that still exists, on the same service or another one. More in Membership plans.
Appointments: the message names the service and the reason
An existing appointment on a deleted price can be moved and completed — the price stays on it, even though it is no longer offered for new bookings.
When the booking really cannot go through, the message starts with "The following services cannot be booked" and each service is followed by its reason: "the price was deleted", "the service was deleted", "the service is disabled" or "not offered at the selected location".
Fiscal device: cash drawer and clock from the app
"Integrations" → "Fiscal devices" arranges the actions for each device into four groups: "Reports", "Cash drawer", "Clock" and "Maintenance". You see only the groups the selected device supports.
Cash drawer. "Cash in" and "Cash out" open a dialog with the current amount in the device and a single field — "Amount". The dialog is the confirmation as well: for a withdrawal it reads "The withdrawal is recorded by the device and cannot be undone." After the operation the device prints a service receipt and the amount is read from it again.
Clock. "Get device time" shows the difference against the computer — "The device is ahead by …" or "The device is behind by …" — instead of two dates to compare in your head. "Sync with computer" writes the computer time once you confirm: "The device records the new time and stamps it on every document printed after it. Continue?"
When the screen opens, the cash amount and the clock of the selected device are read automatically.
"Operator password" comes prefilled with the factory value for the model until you enter your own. The full table by series is in Fiscal devices.
If the device refuses to sync the clock, also read the hint "If the day is open, print a Z report first and try again." Some devices do not accept a new time until the daily report is closed.
NHIS: the "Assessments" field in the e-examination
The e-examination has an "Assessments" section between "Primary diagnosis" and "Therapy" — free text of up to 4000 characters that is submitted to NHIS and printed on the outpatient sheet.
The last-used values menu covers it too, and the suggestions come from the examinations of the specialist selected in "Examination and specialist". Changing the specialist refreshes the list.
A closed or voided examination can be neither edited nor deleted — the delete button is not shown in those two states. NHIS holds the accepted document.
The steps are in NHIS (HIS BG).
Desktop: signing out keeps the workstation settings
The settings of the workstation itself now survive signing out. The selected cash register, the NHIS signature device and the barcode scanner stay ready for the next person at the front desk.
Your personal settings — selected location, front desk filters, remembered tabs — wait for you on the same computer at your next sign-in and are not available to your colleagues.
The remembered PIN of the electronic signature is now kept per employee and forgotten when you sign out. At your first sign-in after this update, enter the PIN once again.
Notifications: the email contains only your text
The appointment emails to clients, whose text you write in "Settings" → "Notifications", contain only what you wrote in the template.
The rules for cancelling, rescheduling and changing seats, together with their deadline, stay in the free notification for clients who booked online — that one is not configured in the templates, because it takes the client to the app, where they cancel or move the appointment themselves.
If you want the rules in an email you write yourself, put them into the template text.
Marketplace: video in the descriptions
If you put a YouTube or Vimeo link into the description of a location, a service, a group class or a membership, Marketplace shows it as a video. The same goes for the rule texts a client reads before cancelling or moving an appointment.
Paragraphs in those texts are kept exactly as you write them, and addresses become links.
