Sales reports

Sales reports show both the concrete sales and how they are distributed by item, employee, and discount.

Available views

  • detailed list:
    • Sales list
  • summarized Reports PRO views:
    • Sales by items
    • Sales by employee
    • Sales by discount

How to choose the right view

  • Sales list is for working with concrete sales. It shows number, client, note, amount, payment status, date, and remaining amount when the sale is not fully paid.
  • Sales by items is the best choice when you want to analyze which items or services are sold, in what quantity, and with what final total, discount, tax, consumables, and inventory cost.
  • Sales by employee is useful when you compare team results by count, amount, discounts, and taxes.
  • Sales by discount is useful when you want to see which discounts are being used and how they affect totals.

What is useful to keep in mind

  • The detailed list is better for checking a concrete sale.
  • The detailed list is also the best view when you need to follow unpaid and partially paid sales by remaining amount.
  • The summarized reports are better for analysis and often let you open the sales list behind the selected row.
  • In summarized reports, you mostly work with filters by period, employee, item, location, and other criteria.

Important

  • Summary and other soon views are not part of the current functionality.
  • Sales list now also supports generating a file with the same filters, including the remaining amount column.
  • Not every view has a generate button. When that action is available, the request is processed asynchronously and the file appears in Download generated reports.
