Manage service prices

The "Manage Service Prices" page is for bulk editing prices and durations across the catalog. Use it when you need to update many services at once instead of opening each service separately.

When to use this page

  • When you need to change many prices at once.
  • When you maintain different prices by location.
  • When you work with employee-specific pricing.
  • When you want the same pricing logic applied across a larger part of the catalog.

What is not on this page

  • you do not create pricing options for one specific service here;
  • you do not configure consumables, class options, or benefit cards here;
  • you do not create a package service here.

If you want to configure prices inside one specific service, the better page is Pricing and additional options. If you want to edit the main service form, use Create and edit a service.

How the screen is structured

The screen works across three levels:

  1. base price for the service;
  2. location price;
  3. employee price.

This lets you start from the general price and override it only where needed for a specific location or employee.

1) Base price

At this level you edit:

  • duration;
  • price type;
  • value;
  • "Old price (optional)".

Important:

  • if you choose "Free", the price becomes 0 and price fields are disabled;
  • if "Old price (optional)" is not higher than the current price, no discount is shown.

2) Location price

At this level you can set a separate price and duration for a specific location.

What matters:

  • if it matches the base price, you will see "Uses base price";
  • "Reset to base service price" restores the base values;
  • "Apply to employees" copies the location price to the employees in that location.

3) Employee price

At this level you can set a separate price and duration for a specific employee within a specific location.

What matters:

  • if it matches the base price, you will see "Uses base price";
  • if it matches the location price, you will see "Uses location price";
  • "Reset to location service price" restores the location values.

Filters

This page supports quick filters by:

  • location;
  • employee.

This is useful when you do not want to work across the whole catalog, but only across one location or team.

How price inheritance works

The system reads prices in this order:

  1. employee price;
  2. location price;
  3. base price.

If there is no separate value on the lower level, the system uses the value from the level above.

This also applies to:

  • price type;
  • old price;
  • duration.

What happens when you save

  • Click "Save" and confirm the action.
  • Changes are applied in one batch for all edited rows.
  • After a successful save, the system returns you to the services list.

That is why this page is best for controlled, larger pricing changes, not for small edits to one single service.

FAQ

Why do I see “Uses base price”?

It means there is no specific price set for that location or employee, so the base price is used.

How do I reset a price to base or to the location price?

Use "Reset to base service price" for location or "Reset to location service price" for employee.

When should I use “Apply to employees”?

Use it when you want the location price to be copied to all employees in that location.
