Business: a more reliable Google Calendar sync, appointment and payment fixes, new filters

This update makes Google Calendar sync more stable and predictable, keeps your manual settings when editing an appointment, and gives you more control when correcting payments and clients, plus new filters for membership reports.

✨ In short

  • "Google calendar" sync is now more stable: every appointment is written exactly once, deleted and reassigned appointments update correctly, and the connection stays active reliably.
  • Editing a service on an appointment now keeps the duration you set and immediately shows the current price on the appointment's row.
  • A sale payment now has a "Correction" section where you can fix "Collected by" along with the payment date, separate from "Payment actions".
  • The client list now has an "Accept marketing notifications" filter, and the client profile shows a "Marketing notifications stopped" warning.
  • The client form now has an "External ID" field for a card number or an ID from your previous software.
  • "Days ahead" in recurrence rules now supports up to 180 days, instead of the previous 30.
  • Appointment-by-client reports now have a "Purchased membership" filter with a purchase-date range, and membership exports now include the client's phone and email.

📅 A more reliable Google Calendar sync

"Google calendar" sync in Business now works more stably and predictably:

  • every appointment is written to Google Calendar exactly once, even with fast, back-to-back changes;
  • deleting an appointment or reassigning it to another employee immediately updates the correct event in Google Calendar;
  • your connection to Google stays active reliably, until you turn it off yourself from settings.

The improvement applies automatically to every connected calendar — there's nothing you need to do. If you'd like to check your status, open Google calendar, where you can see whether "Sync my appointments" is on.

🗓️ Appointments: precise duration and price on edit

Editing a service on an appointment is now more precise:

  • a manually set service duration is kept exactly as you set it, even the next time you open the appointment;
  • a price change shows up immediately on the appointment's row, without needing to reload the page.

💳 Payments: correcting "Collected by"

A payment's detail view now has a separate "Correction" section, distinct from "Payment actions". There you can correct which employee collected the payment, along with the payment date, using "Collected by" and a "Save changes" button.

This is useful when a payment was recorded under the wrong employee or cashier and needs fixing without voiding the whole sale. The change is reflected immediately in the sale's row, next to the employee icon.

  • The client list now lets you filter by "Accept marketing notifications" with "Yes", "No", and "All" options.
  • When a client has stopped marketing notifications, their profile shows a clear "Marketing notifications stopped" warning, so you don't add them back into a campaign without consent.
  • The client form now has an "External ID" field — free text for a card number or an identifier from the system you used before Reservation.Studio.

🔁 A longer look-ahead window for recurring appointments

In "Recurrence rules", the "Days ahead" field now accepts values up to 180 days instead of the previous limit of 30. This helps businesses that want the system to prepare recurring appointments much further in advance.

📊 Reports: a purchased-membership filter

Appointment-by-client reports now have a "Membership" section with a "Purchased membership" filter ("Purchased" / "Not purchased") and a "Membership purchase date" range, so you can narrow results to clients who did or didn't buy a membership within a chosen period.

Membership exports also now include the client's phone and email next to their name, matching the other exports that include client data.

✅ What to do

  1. Check your Google calendar settings and confirm "Sync my appointments" is on.
  2. If needed, correct a payment's collector via the "Correction" section on the payment's detail view.
  3. Use the new "Accept marketing notifications" filter on the client list to clean up your list before a campaign.
  4. If you're migrating clients from another system, fill in "External ID" on the client form.
  5. Check out the new "Purchased membership" filter in appointment-by-client reports.
