Working hours
After you add your locations and employees, configure the working hours. They determine when bookings can be created in the calendar and which time slots are shown for online bookings.
What to do
- Open "Working hours" > "By Location".
- In "Shifts", add at least one shift, for example
09:00 - 18:00. - Mark in the table which days and locations use this shift.
- If employees do not work on the same schedule, open "By Employees".
- Select an employee and a location, then add shifts only for that employee.
- If you need to close time temporarily, use "Blocked time".
- If you use online bookings, open "Online booking" > "Settings" and check "Use working schedule from".
How to choose the right setup
- Choose "Location" if all employees work on the general location schedule.
- Choose "Employees" if each employee has their own schedule and online availability should be calculated from it.
- Use "Blocked time" for breaks, absences, closed hours, or one-off exceptions for a location, employee, or resource.
What matters
- Set the base location working hours first.
- Add employee working hours only when they differ from the general schedule.
- To assign working hours for an employee in a specific location, that employee must already be assigned to the location.
- Online availability depends on "Use working schedule from", not only on which schedules you have added.
- The setup is ready when you can create bookings at the correct times and a test online booking shows the expected available slots.
