Suppliers
The Suppliers page contains the companies and contacts you use to restock products.
When it is useful to add suppliers first
It is a good idea to create suppliers in advance:
- before you import products;
- before you start receiving deliveries;
- when you want a product to have clearly defined replenishment sources.
What you see in the list
- Name - supplier name.
- Country - country.
- City - city.
- Active - active state indicator.
Creating and editing
In New supplier or Edit supplier, you configure:
- the Supplier name;
- Country, City, and Address;
- contact person details;
- Phone, Email, and Website;
- preferred Language;
- whether the supplier is active.
Actions from the list
- New supplier - creates a new supplier.
- Edit supplier - edits the record.
- Delete supplier / Restore supplier - deletes or restores the record.
Where suppliers are used
- in Products as suppliers for a specific item;
- during product import;
- in Orders and transfers, where you can select a supplier for each delivery row.
If a product has no linked suppliers, delivery rows will not have a ready supplier choice until you add one to the product.
Limitations
- The name is required.
- If a phone number is set, a phone country is also required.
- If an email is set, the system validates the email format.
