Finance

This section is for finance work inside the business: the setup that prepares payments and reporting, followed by the day-to-day actions after that.

If you need payments to Reservation.Studio, open Platform billing.

Main groups

  • Sales and payments — setup and day-to-day work with payments, expenses, cash registers, fiscal devices, discounts, and online payments.
  • Tax rates — tax rates, default taxes, and fiscal VAT group.
  • Business currency — changing the primary currency and recalculating prices across the business.
  • Commissions — commission rules, accruals, and payouts.
  1. Prepare Payment methods.
  2. If you use fiscal printing, configure Fiscal devices and fiscal printing.
  3. Prepare Expense types.
  4. Fill in Tax rates if you work with taxes and fiscal flow.
  5. If the business must move to a new currency, handle that from Business currency before larger operational accumulations.
  6. If you use discounts, cash registers, or online payments, configure them before the first real sales.
  7. If you pay staff commissions, start from Commissions and set the rules.
  8. Then move to the day-to-day actions: Sale, Add payment, and Add expense.

When to use each group

  • Use Sales and payments when you need to prepare payment methods, expense types, cash registers, fiscal devices, online payments, and when you record actual payments and expenses.
  • Use Tax rates when you set default taxes and fiscal VAT group before the real sales and reporting flow.
  • Use Business currency when you need to change the primary currency and recalculate prices and related amounts across the business.
  • Use Commissions when the business uses staff commissions and you first need to set the rules and later pay the accumulated amounts.
