Services
Services define what exactly the client books, how long it takes, which locations offer it, and who can perform it. After you set up locations, employees, and resources if needed, create the first service you will actually use.
What to do
- Open "Services".
- If you do not yet have a category, open "Categories" first and select "New category".
- Fill in at least:
- "Category name"
- "Category description" if needed
- "Online Booking" if this category should appear online
- "Active category"
- Save the category and return to "Services".
- Select "New service".
- Fill in the main details:
- "Service name"
- "Service description" if needed
- at least one category via "Select categories"
- Choose the locations where the service will be provided.
- Choose the employees who will perform the service.
- Add at least one pricing option with:
- "Duration"
- "Price type"
- "Price" when the service is not free
- Review the two main settings:
- "Online Booking"
- "Active service"
- Save the service.
What matters
- A service requires at least one category, at least one location, and at least one pricing option.
- If the category does not exist yet, create it before the service itself. This keeps the flow smooth and avoids stopping inside the form.
- For a standard service, choose the employees who will perform it from the start.
- "Duration" and "Price" are the most important values for correct calendar and online booking behavior.
- "Online Booking" determines whether the service appears in the online profile.
- "Active service" determines whether the service can be used in the system.
- If the service uses equipment, a room, or another shared asset, also link it to a resource.
