Request submission window
This setting defines which days and time ranges clients are allowed to submit an online request. It is a separate rule from working hours, free slots, and how early or how far ahead an appointment can be booked.
What this setting controls
The "Online booking request window" section contains three fields:
- "Accept requests from"
- "Accept requests until"
- "Accept requests on days"
These fields define when the request may be submitted. For example, you can accept online requests only:
- on weekdays;
- between 8:00 AM and 8:00 PM;
- on selected days of the week.
How to configure it
- Open "Online booking" for the specific location.
- Find the "Online booking request window" section.
- Set:
- a start time in "Accept requests from"
- an end time in "Accept requests until"
- the allowed days in "Accept requests on days"
- Save your changes.
How it works
- The check applies to the moment when the request is submitted, not to the actual appointment time.
- Even if a free slot exists, the request will be rejected if it is submitted outside the allowed day or time range.
- Validation is done in the business timezone.
- If no days are selected, online requests will not be accepted.
- If the start time is after the end time, the setting is invalid.
How it works together with the other limits
This setting does not replace the other online booking rules. Once the request is inside the allowed day and time range, the system still checks:
- whether free time slots exist according to the location or employee working hours;
- "When a client can make an appointment";
- "Online appointment available in the future";
- service-level and slot-level availability rules.
Because of that, a client may still be unable to book a specific slot even if the request is sent in the correct day and time window.
When it is useful
This setting is most useful when:
- you want online requests only on business days;
- you do not want late-night requests;
- the location accepts online requests only during certain hours even though working hours are longer;
- your team processes new requests only during a specific time window.
