Service types

Reservation.Studio offers three service types to cover different business scenarios. The type you choose affects how services are booked and scheduled in the calendar.

In short​

  • Single service — individual appointments.
  • Group activity — organized visits with multiple participants.
  • Package service — multiple services in one offer.

Single service​

Single services are intended for individual appointments.

Use this for standard services with a clear duration and price. You can assign employees, resources, and online bookings as needed.

When to choose this type:

  • One‑to‑one services (e.g., haircut, consultation).
  • When time and pricing are per client.

Group activity​

Group services are intended for organized visits with multiple participants.

Use this for classes and trainings with seats/capacity where multiple clients book the same time slot.

When to choose this type:

  • Services with seats/capacity and a shared start time.
  • When multiple clients book one appointment slot.

In lists and filters, this type is shown as "Class service".

Package service​

Package services bundle multiple services into one offer.

When to choose this type:

  • When you want to offer a bundled service at a better value.
  • When the included services should be scheduled together.
