Payment methods for platform billing

This page is about the saved cards and payment methods that Reservation.Studio uses when it charges your business for Wallet, Auto top up, and Subscription.

This is not the same as Payment methods in Finance. There you configure the methods used in sales. Here you manage the cards and methods used for payments to the platform.

Where to open it from​

  • From Wallet → Manage payment methods
  • From Subscription → Manage payment methods
  • From the Make deposit modal → Payment methods

What you see​

  • card brand;
  • masked number with the last 4 digits;
  • expiry date;
  • delete action;
  • Add new payment method button.

Steps: Add a new payment method​

  1. Open Manage payment methods.
  2. Select Add new payment method.
  3. Enter the card in the secure Stripe field.
  4. Confirm with Add card.
  5. After saving, the card appears in the list and can be used for future platform charges.

How these methods are used​

  • During Make deposit, the system uses an available saved method for the charge.
  • Auto top up requires at least one valid saved method so the balance can be charged automatically.
  • Subscription uses the same saved methods for manual extension and future billing.

Important​

  • Card details are stored securely at Stripe.
  • These methods do not change the payment options available inside sales.
  • If you do not have a saved method, Wallet, Subscription, and Auto top up may show a warning or be unable to complete the charge.
  • If you use auto top up or rely on future subscription billing, keep at least one valid saved method.
