Geo Location in Marketplace

Introduction​

Enabling geolocation in your browser or mobile device allows Reservation.Studio to detect your location. This makes it easier to find services and offers near you. In this help page, we show you how to enable geolocation in the most popular browsers and mobile devices.

Enabling geo location in browsers​

Google Chrome (Desktop)​

  1. Open Chrome.
  2. Click the three-dot icon in the top-right corner and select Settings.
  3. Scroll down and click Privacy and security.
  4. Select Site settings.
  5. Under Permissions, select Location.
  6. Make sure Ask before accessing (recommended) is enabled.

Mozilla Firefox (Desktop)​

  1. Open Firefox.
  2. Click the three-line icon in the top-right corner and select Settings.
  3. Scroll to the Privacy & Security section.
  4. Under Permissions, find Location and click Settings.
  5. Add Reservation.Studio to allow access to your location, or allow location for all websites.

Microsoft Edge (Desktop)​

  1. Open Edge.
  2. Click the three-dot icon in the top-right corner and select Settings.
  3. Click Cookies and site permissions from the left menu.
  4. Scroll down and select Location.
  5. Enable Ask before access (recommended).

Safari (macOS)​

  1. Open Safari.
  2. Click Safari in the menu and select Settings.
  3. Go to the Websites tab.
  4. In the left menu, select Location.
  5. Choose a location access option for Reservation.Studio.

Enabling geo location on mobile devices​

Android​

  1. Open your device Settings.
  2. Scroll to Location and open it.
  3. Enable Use location.
  4. To control location access for different apps, open Location permissions and manage settings for Reservation.Studio.

iOS (iPhone and iPad)​

  1. Open Settings.
  2. Select Privacy & Security.
  3. Tap Location Services.
  4. Enable Location Services.
  5. Scroll down to see the app list and set individual location access permissions for Reservation.Studio.

Why is enabling geo location important?​

Enabling geolocation helps Reservation.Studio provide better and more accurate services based on your current location. For example, you can more easily find nearby beauty salons, massage studios, or other services that match your needs.
