Fiscal devices, safer payments, and schedule printing

The leading focus in this update is clearer and more stable day-to-day work with fiscal devices. Alongside that, payments now follow a cleaner workflow, and Calendar gets new schedule printing to PDF.

🧾 In short

  • New fiscal device menu in "Integrations" with quick setup and device selection.
  • Clearer sales flow: saved payments are locked for editing.
  • Corrections are done through separate operations: "Void payment" and "Refund payment".
  • Correct setup is required in both payment methods and taxes.
  • Better traceability: receipt status and details (number, time, fiscal memory number).
  • More detailed payment reports: "Income gross", "Income returns", "Income net", "Expenses total".
  • Payment filtering and exports across multiple cash registers.
  • New "Print" action in Calendar for weekly or monthly schedule PDFs (A4 landscape).
  • The schedule "Print" feature is available only in the Desktop app version.
  • Flexible print setup: period, layout, empty days, employees, locations, and appointment types.
  • Choose which details appear inside each appointment card, with last-used settings saved in the browser.
  • Print-optimized layout with compact spacing and minimal empty space.

🖨️ Fiscal devices: setup and daily operations

In the Desktop app, devices are now managed from "Integrations" → "Fiscal devices".

What you can do in one place:

  • "Scan devices" to discover available devices.
  • Select the active device.
  • Configure operator settings (number and password).
  • Choose receipt mode: "Print fiscal receipt" or "Print non-fiscal receipt".
  • Run key actions: "Print X report", "Print Z report", "Print duplicate (last receipt)", "Get status", "Run diagnostics", "Get cash amount".

Result: faster setup for new devices, easier device monitoring, and fewer manual checks for your team.

🌼 Daisy: current compatibility

At the moment, the system supports Daisy fiscal devices.

Practical guidance for teams:

  • During initial setup, always run "Scan devices" and confirm the correct serial number.
  • Verify operator credentials (number and password), because printing and diagnostics depend on them.
  • Use "Get status" and "Run diagnostics" before continuing sales when issues appear.
  • "Print duplicate (last receipt)" is a support action for a copy and does not change the payment status in the system.

🔒 New payment flow: no edits on saved payments

When you open an already saved payment, the details are visible for review, but not editable.

If a correction is needed, the system creates a separate adjustment instead of changing the original payment:

  • "Void payment" for cancellation
  • "Refund payment" for full or partial return

This keeps payment history clear and auditable: original payment and corrections are tracked separately.

🧷 Clearer fiscal statuses and corrections

Payment lists and forms now show clearer fiscal states:

  • "Fiscal receipt will be printed"
  • "Fiscal receipt printed"
  • "Fiscal receipt printing failed"
  • "Fiscal receipt voided"
  • "Fiscal receipt refunded"

When a receipt is issued, key reference data is also visible:

  • receipt number
  • receipt time
  • fiscal memory number

When printing fails, there are clear retry actions: "Retry printing the fiscal receipt" and "Retry printing the reversal receipt".

This helps teams resolve checks, reversals, and customer questions faster.

🗓️ Schedule printing to PDF (week/month)

From "Calendar", you can use "Print" to generate a print-ready PDF.

What you can configure before generating:

  • print period (week or month)
  • layout: "Day list" or "Week grid (7 columns)"
  • whether to include days without appointments
  • which locations and employees to include
  • which appointment types to include
  • which details to show inside each appointment card

What matters in the new print flow:

  • Dates and times are shown in your business timezone.
  • Output format is A4 landscape, optimized for fewer empty spaces when printed.
  • Each appointment card contains day/date and structured details for fast scanning.
  • Last-used settings are saved on the same device/browser.
Access

Printing is available to users who have permission to view appointments. This feature is available only in the Desktop version of the app.

💱 Payment methods and fiscal payment type

In "Payment methods", there is a new "Fiscal payment type" field.

This maps each method (cash, card, etc.) correctly to the fiscal device payment type, reducing printing and correction errors.

🧮 Taxes and fiscal VAT group

Besides payment methods, review your taxes setup. For each active tax rate, set a "Fiscal VAT group".

This links the tax rate to the correct fiscal VAT group in the cash register and is critical for correct fiscal receipts.

Important

For payments with an issued fiscal receipt, void/refund actions follow the rules of the selected fiscal payment type. The system may show: "Void/refund is available only for cash fiscal payments."

📊 Payment reports: clearer financial view

Payment reports now split totals more clearly:

  • "Income gross"
  • "Income returns"
  • "Income net"
  • "Expenses total"

Filtering and export now support multiple cash registers, which makes control easier for businesses with multiple cashier points.

⚙️ Additional fiscal flow improvements

  • More resilient device communication and clearer operational messages (for example "No fiscal device is selected.", "Fiscal printing is unavailable").
  • Clear text for delayed printing flow: "Payment is saved. Connect a fiscal device to print the fiscal receipt."
  • Improved synchronization of receipt time with the device-local clock for more accurate operational traceability.
  • More resilient behavior for temporary device issues (paper/communication), with clearer operator guidance on what to check.

Operational guidance for teams

  • For void/refund scenarios, the system guides the operator and indicates when the action is applicable for the specific payment.
  • If a device is not connected at payment time, teams can continue working and print the receipt afterward.
  • When printing fails, a practical sequence is to use "Get status" and "Run diagnostics" first, then retry printing.
  • For faster internal checks, payment details include key references: receipt number, receipt time, and fiscal memory number.

✅ What to do now

  1. In the Desktop app, open "Integrations" → "Fiscal devices" and complete the initial setup.
  2. Review "Payment methods" and set "Fiscal payment type" for key methods.
  3. Review taxes and set "Fiscal VAT group" for active tax rates.
  4. Align your team process: saved payments are not edited, use "Void payment" and "Refund payment".
  5. Review the new payment report metrics and cash-register filters.
