Create and configure
This page explains how to create a service and configure its key options.
Create a new service
- Go to "Services" and click "New service".
- Choose a service type based on your needs (see Service types).
- Fill in the core fields:
- "Service name"
- "Service description" (optional)
- "Service Category" → "Select categories"
- "Locations" (where the service is offered)
- Set the statuses:
- "Active service"
- "Online bookings" (if the service can be booked online)
- Set pricing options (for single and group services):
- "Price type": "Fixed", "From", or "Free".
- "Price" and optionally "Old price (optional)".
- "Duration" for each option.
- If you choose "Free", the price becomes 0 and price fields are disabled.
- "Old price (optional)" must be higher than the current price to show a discount.
- If needed, add "Consumables" to pricing options.
- In "Additional service options", enable "Change the default tax rate" if needed.
- Add a color for the calendar (optional).
- Click "Create".
Prices can vary by location and employee. For bulk updates, use “Bulk price update”.
Employees, resources, and time (for single and group services)
These settings are shown for Single and Group services. For Package services, only "Package schedule type" appears in the additional options.
Employees
- Choose "Employees" who can perform the service.
- If the service is performed by several employees, enable "Includes Several Employees" and select how the price is calculated:
- "Sum of prices"
- "Lowest price"
- "Highest price"
- "Average price"
Resources
- Enable "Resources" if the service requires a room or equipment.
- Optionally enable:
- "Allow resource selection"
- "Uses resource availability"
- "Conditions for resource availability" (when availability is enabled)
Extra time
- Enable "Extra time" and set minutes before or after the service.
- Useful for prep, cleanup, or transition time between clients.
Status and visibility
- "Active service" controls whether the service can be used in the calendar.
- "Online bookings" controls whether the service is available for online booking.
- The service color is shown in the calendar for easier recognition.
Package service setup
If the type is "Package service":
- In "Services in package", add at least 2 services.
- Choose "Package schedule type":
- "Sequential" — services are added one after another.
- "Parallel" — services start at the same time.
- You see the total duration and price for the package.
How the package price is calculated:
- If all items are "Free" → the package is "Free".
- If any item is "From" → the package is shown as "From".
- Otherwise the package is "Fixed".
For package services, you don’t select an employee list and you don’t see the standard pricing options used for single/group services. The package price is derived from the items in the package.
Edit a service
- Open a service from the list.
- Click "Edit service".
- Update pricing options if needed (type, price, duration) and "Consumables".
- Apply the remaining changes, including tax settings.
- Click "Save".
If you work across multiple locations, set "Locations" first to see the correct prices and availability.
How pricing is structured
Prices are organized at three levels:
- Base price for the service
- Location price
- Employee price
If a lower‑level price is not set, the system uses the price from the level above.
Sync prices for upcoming appointments
When you change prices or durations, you can apply them to all upcoming appointments:
- Go to the services list.
- From the service menu select "Sync prices".
- Confirm "Sync now".
The system updates prices and durations for all future appointments of that service.
