The Reports & Analytics module provides valuable business insights, helping you make data‑driven decisions. This page walks through report types, how to generate and customize them, and how to analyze results.

Reports overview
Reservation.Studio offers a wide range of reports grouped into several categories:
- Financial reports: Revenue, expenses, profit
- Booking reports: Number of bookings, utilization, cancellations
- Customer reports: New customers, repeat visits, loyalty
- Employee reports: Productivity, utilization, generated revenue
- Service reports: Service popularity, revenue by service
- Marketing reports: Campaign effectiveness, booking sources
Accessing reports
Navigate to the Reports module
- Sign in to Reservation.Studio.
- Click Reports in the main menu.
- Choose the report category you are interested in.
- Select a specific report from the list.
Quick access to frequent reports
- Add reports to Favorites by clicking the star icon.
- Access favorites directly from the dashboard.
If you work with more than one currency, use the "Currency" filter to keep totals consistent.
Financial reports
Revenue report
Shows total revenue for a selected period:
- Choose Financial reports > Revenue.
- Set the period (day, week, month, year, or custom).
- Filter by:
- Location
- Service
- Employee
- Payment method
- View results as a table or chart.
Profit report
Combines revenue and expenses:
- Choose Financial reports > Profit.
- Set the period.
- Review:
- Total revenue
- Total expenses
- Net profit
- Profit margin (%)
Tax report
Helps with tax declarations:
- Choose Financial reports > Taxes.
- Set the tax period.
- Review:
- Taxable revenue
- VAT accrued
- VAT paid
- VAT due
Booking reports
🗂️ Bulk actions (delete and restore)
In Reports → Appointments → Last appointments, you can select multiple rows and use bulk actions like Delete / Restore.
This is useful when you need to correct many records at once (for example, deleting or restoring a group of appointments).
Booking summary
Provides a general overview of bookings:
- Choose Booking reports > Summary.
- Set the period.
- Review:
- Total bookings
- Average duration
- Utilization rate
- Cancellation rate
Utilization report
Shows how effectively available time is used:
- Choose Booking reports > Utilization.
- Set the period.
- Filter by:
- Employee
- Resource (room, equipment)
- Day of week
- Time of day
- Review utilization as a table or chart.
Cancellations report
Analyzes canceled bookings:
- Choose Booking reports > Cancellations.
- Set the period.
- Review:
- Number of cancellations
- Cancellation rate
- Top reasons
- Distribution by day/time
Customer reports
New and returning customers
- Choose Customer reports > New vs returning.
- Review growth, retention, and frequency.
Loyalty and lifetime value
- Choose Customer reports > Loyalty.
- Analyze visit frequency, spend per customer, and lifetime value indicators.
Employee reports
Productivity
- Choose Employee reports > Productivity.
- Review bookings completed, revenue generated, average duration, upsells.
Utilization by employee
- Choose Employee reports > Utilization.
- Compare occupancy rates between employees.

Popular services
- Choose Service reports > Popularity.
- Identify most/least booked services and revenue contributions.
Revenue by service
- Choose Service reports > Revenue by service.
- Analyze revenue shares and trends.
Marketing reports
Campaign effectiveness
- Choose Marketing reports > Campaigns.
- Measure sessions, bookings, conversions, and revenue by UTM.
Sources of bookings
- Choose Marketing reports > Sources.
- Evaluate bookings by source (social, search, email, referral, etc.).
Export and scheduling
- Export to CSV/XLSX for further analysis.
- Schedule periodic delivery (daily/weekly/monthly) to email.
- Share saved report views with teammates (permissions apply).
When you generate a report, the button shows that the request is being processed. If a report cannot be generated, you’ll see "Unable to generate report. Please try again."
In the mobile app, downloaded reports are saved to Downloads/Reservation.Studio (Android) or Files → Documents (iOS).
Best practices
- Standardize reporting periods for consistent comparisons.
- Create saved views for common filters (e.g., key locations).
- Pair utilization with revenue to spot quality vs quantity.
- Include cancellations and reasons to spot process issues.
