Channels

Global channels determine which active channels the system can use to send notifications for the whole business.

How global channels work

  • In Global Notification Channels you enable and disable channels for all notifications.
  • If you stop a channel, notifications through that channel stop globally.
  • To edit notification templates, you need at least one active channel.
  • The available channels depend on the active services and settings in your business.

Steps

  1. Open notification settings.
  2. Go to Global Notification Channels.
  3. Select the channels that should remain active.
  4. Confirm the change.

When to check this page

  • when notifications are not being sent through the expected channel;
  • when you activate a new channel and want to apply it globally;
  • when templates are locked because no active channel is available.

Important

  • This is a business-wide setting, not a personal setting for one user.
  • Turning off a channel here affects both automatic notifications and templates for that channel.
