Working hours — overview
Define when your business accepts clients: by location, by employees, and with “Blocked time” for exceptions. This determines visible slots in the calendar and online bookings.
What you will learn
- The difference between location hours and employee schedules.
- How “Use working schedule from” affects online slots.
- How to close periods with “Blocked time”.
Quick logic overview
- Location working hours: the maximum time window when the location operates.
- Employee working hours: specific shifts/intervals for each employee per location.
- Online bookings: in the location profile choose "Use working schedule from" → “Location” or “Employees”.
- Blocked time: a period during which no new bookings are accepted (break, inventory, event).
note
“Outside working hours” is a Calendar view setting showing/hiding extra time (± hours) beyond the configured working hours. It does not change availability — it only affects visibility.
Steps
- Go to "Working hours" from the menu.
- Configure Working hours by location.
- Add Working hours by employees (within the location time window).
- If needed, add Blocked time.
- For online bookings, in the location profile choose: "Online bookings" > "Settings" > "Use working schedule from" → “Location” or “Employees”.
Tip
Start with the location hours, then detail employee schedules. Keep employee schedules within the location working hours.
Frequently asked questions
Which applies to online slots — location or employees?
It depends on the “Use working schedule from” setting in the location profile. “Location” — slots follow the location hours; “Employees” — slots follow employee schedules.
Does “Outside working hours” affect availability?
No. It is only a calendar view option to show ± hours outside the working hours.
